New Section - In the Garden!

Another new section of Free colouring pictures has been added to www.colour-in.com

As part of the NSW syllabus for schools, I have started creating a range of resources for teachers, to create their worksheets, puzzels and games from. I even have some puzzels coming very soon on this theme too! It is a fun theme as lots of different things can be found in the garden, but I am starting out with the little animals first

ok new pictures are now really new!

i realised my idea of creating a new page every day was a little bit cheeky as i had a few images from before that i was uploading so now, i am starting from today, that every image is actually new, really new, as in drawn new each week. i am getting a little down that no one is making any requests though, so i have dug out (thanks to a good friend of mine em) the nsw syllabus for primary school kids and will be creating along the themes that are studies. that way i figure my site can be useful to teachers. i get about 6000 hits a month ! but not sure who finds it......

anyway, this is today's baby giraffe....

paintings by nessy chap!

I will be having my first children's exhibition in September 2010, with a group called The Art Tree Group :
http://www.thearttree.com.au/

The theme is "A Mad Tea Party", and all of the works will be based on Lewis Carroll's books Adventures of Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass

This is the most amazingly talented and diverse group of emerging artists that come together a few times a year to exhibit and I am so honoured to be part of it.

On the right is my work "Down the Rabbit Hole" which is a scene from the book that exists but kind of doesn't exist at the same time. We know Alice follows the rabbit down the rabbit hole and she describes the curiosities she sees along the way. Generally the focus by illustrators is on Alice falling, (or floating really) but I thought I would depict the white rabbit's decent instead. Without going into all the detail,
there is lots of me in this picture too!
